Full Ceramic Crown

One of the techniques that we use frequently in smile design is full ceramic crowns.  The same material is used as laminate veneer. Full ceramic crowns are applied not only on the front of the tooth, but also cover every side of the tooth. Therefore, if you have large fillings, major level of crooked teeth,cavities and abrasions which cover not only the front of the teeth, but also every area, full ceramic crowns are preferred to Laminate Vaneer.

Based on the case some teeth in a mouth can be full ceramic crowns, some teeth may be laminate veneer. Since the material used is the same, appearance of the teeth will be the same. The duration and stages of treatment are the same as laminate veneers. After the examinaton our dentist discuss the condition with the patient and help you decide on the right method. 

Zirconium Crown

Zirconium crowns are also widely used materials for dental crowns. Aesthetic applications that we can do with laminate veneers are also possible with zirconium crowns. 

Zirconium crowns fully cover the tooth like full ceramic crowns. Similarly to full ceramic crowns, zirconium crowwns are also applied not only on the front of the tooth, but also every side of the tooth. In the inner part of the ceramic, a solid tooth-colored material called zirconium is used. 

In the inner part of the ceramic, a tooth-colored infrastructure called zirconium is used to increase the strength. Thanks to this infrastructure, zirconium bridges can be used if there are missing teeth and implants cannot be made or implants are not preferred. Although the bridge member teeth are connected to each other, the teeth will have a beautiful aesthetic appearance, as highly aesthetic materials are used in the zirconium application.

In some cases of clenching or grinding, the possibility of damage to the teeth can be minimized with full zirconium crowns if night plaque is not desired. With this method, we can also design smiles for our patients with intense teeth clenching.
